Did anyone else see the interview on Sky Sports News earlier following last nights F.A. Cup win for Crawley Town?

Saying that if the scoreline had been 4 or 5 nil to Crawley it would have been deserved and how it was "embarrasing" at times to watch if you were a Swindon supporter due to the dominance of the lower league counterparts.

He then had the cheek to compare his situation to that of Chris Hughton, stating that he was living on a knife edge at all times because the owners were wanting success.

Sky Sports presenter asked how his time at Crawley compares to that at Boston to which his response was "We have owners who have the funds to sustain a promotion push and Crawley are not one or two season wonders".  I took that to mean that he has owners who dont let him do the books.....

stating that he was living on a knife edge at all times because the owners were wanting success.

Saying time after time doesn't make people believe it. He's got fingers in every possible pie inside that club I'm sure.  Otherwise the new owners would have come in an wiped the slate clean, new manage/board, the lot.

Another thing that he said that I forgot to mention was that "3 or 4 bigger clubs had come in for him in the last few months" but that the board declined to let the clubs speak to him.

I'm guessing Notts County and his mate Rodwell would have been one of them, or should I say probably the only one....

Suprised he didn't say he was in the running for the Newcastle job.

I heard that he turned Newcastle down, as he is only interested in a big club. :rudolph

I saw the cunt's name mentioned and switched over, I don't want rubbish like that in my house.

He's burnt his bridges here in every single way possible, I'd hate us to draw Crawley because it'd be embarrassing to have to tell a former employee to stay away for his own safety.

And how his fecking brother and his tame apologist Raynor dared offer their hands to JB and the rest of the officials at Guisley the other week beggars belief, protocol or no protocol I'd have told the pair to fcuk off and asked the Guisley officials to remove them from the ground.

The fact they believed that they would even be slightly interested in shaking their hand shows what sort of world they live in and it isn't the same one we live in.

They just kept hoofing the ball into our box and we didn't deal with it," Wilson told BBC Wiltshire.

ESPN have chosen Crawley vs Derby County as one of their live FA Cup matches. 10th January, I believe.

It get's better, according to the Sun today, Evans has compared Crawley to Man City except for the fact that his board will say no to a selling club if the price gets out of hand.  I'm not surprised by his self loving, at Boston it took some beating, but the last few days have been a complete joke.

Apparently tomorrow he compares Matt Tubbs to Lionel Messi....  :P
