A good 4-1 win, but where were the so-called "hardcore fans" Townenders!? Their stand was nearly empty and hardly a peep from the ones that were there.
-
never-the-less, a super high attendance figure of 1400 was announced!
-
What an enjoyable game. Probably the best ref this season helped.
-
Hard to get any atmosphere for a glorified friendly
Maybe with pressure off they showed us what they should've done more often. Put poor opposition to the sword
Well done to united on the community initiative. Main stand was as full as ive seen in ages and spared us another sub 900 gate!
-
Gave it a miss today, came away disappointed so many times this season. A season of missed opportunities.
Now waits for the abuse!!

Probably at Sincil Bank lol

Loved it loved it loved it.
Come on a win at home, let's enjoy it.
-
Good game and even better result. Just like Bodge, I've come away disappointed on many occasions this season. The thing is, I support Boston through thick and thin (and thinner) and it makes it all worth it when you win.

An early goal settled the nerves and Nash were never in it. Special mention if I may for Max Wright, showed his manager what he’s capable of, and I hope he has his name on next weeks teamsheet already. Decent performance , average opposition, good win. UTP

Excellent win against a team with very good away record somehow as today thought we made them look poor. In my opinion first time this season we were positive at home until we reverted to type when subs were made in second half, we cannot cope with letting teams come on to us. Thought either Wrights could have been man of the match.
Just one other thing why bring in a player and not even put them on the bench?
Hopefully some of the freebie supporters today come again.
-
400 freebie tickets then holbeach 56? Did they get a free Costa coffee aswell.
-
Hi KON, Not sure how many freebies but looking at gate figure would say you are not far off.
By the way good luck with your battle with p86. He seems to love having a go at anyone who does not share his views. Things should not get personal on here
-
Thought thereof deserved praise today, best we've had down here for a while.
-
Amazing result and a surprisingly good attendance. What a shame that the play offs are a long shot away.
-

A couple of weeks ago holbeach 56 made a good point about using the stadium for other things to promote the club and then KON gets all sarcastic when more people turn to watch as a result. Unbelievable!

But how many actually paid and wonder how many will be at the next match?

But how many actually paid and wonder how many will be at the next match?
What the hell does it matter how many paid, and why would an ex supporter like yourself be interested?.
-
Afternoon OXO! As mentioned before your manners are far from perfect.
-
But how many actually paid and wonder how many will be at the next match?
Not sure it matters how many paid this time. Suspect you might get a few kids back next time given the 4-1 win.
Whilst not adding any money through the turnstile, an extra 400 cans of pop and burgers can only be a good thing for the club.
but hey, don't let that stop you having a moan about things.
-
Have always said that it's worth getting kids in for free.....if only 5 get hooked it's worth it. The seats would be empty anyway. No brainer really.....
-

Oxo mate, given your unofficial status as a self-appointed ambassador, and any spare change? collector of the club, you perhaps should consider your manners. There were a lot of comps at the match, do you have any interests to declare? Just saying!
-
Ambassador more like the Governor!
-
He wont get any from me. Scouse who gave the Supporters Trust money to the Chestnuts........

So how are you going to contribute to the club?

Be very careful Mr Walmsley.
-
I locked my In/out thread because I did not want this friendly forum to go the way of many others. What I have seen lately on here is a lot of bitchiness creeping in. Please don't spoil this forum lads :( :(

In what way should Mr Walmsley be careful Mr Oxo (other bollax stock cubes are available)? Is this a veiled threat to sling a half-empty jam jar in his direction?
-

Now let's not get into who gave all the money away and to whom (Mr Oxo did, but not sure if he got any worthless shares in return). Of more interest to me is the Moorlands prison riot. :P

So how are you going to contribute to the club?
[/quote]!
I will sponsor a stand in the new stadium! The "Scouse stand". Are there any actual plans for a stand? The muddy field looks marvellous. ;D
-
Im with you Dip keep it friendly, but how many times do the Neg Heads come on having no real interest in the club. Im no superfan but get to most home games and a couple of boozy away games each season. I go to all the dinners and last Friday the Legends night so i class myself as a supporter, but whenever the club are successful with an event, or with a decent performance minimal amount of people post, but play crap or something doesn't go well people soon come from the woodwork.
OXO just ignore them.
-
I think we should ignore OXO! He started by questioning my support. I admit I've only been a few times this season. Luckily I never bought a season ticket.
-
OK that's my posting for a few weeks finished. Better things to do than fall out on here!

No, you locked it because everything you were warned would happen has indeed happened and you're a tad embarrassed! No shame in that mate, we all get things wrong. No-one was being unfriendly.
-
Don't be silly. I locked it because you were on your high horse, and anyone with a different view to you was wrong. I was sick to death of the BBC view you were taking. I tried to keep this forum to footballing matters, because I thought I created a monster in that thread. I sent a PM to Ken explaining my reason for locking it. I will take a small straw poll, In/out thread to be unlocked Yes or no. I will adhere to the wishes of the forum members. I vote NO.
I will think most are fed up of the thread and Brexit, that is why I locked it
