Lincolnshire League XI progress further in FA Inter-League Cup
« on: November 30, 2013, 06:14:59 PM »
Great result for the County League team beating Birmingham Amateur League XI 2-1 away with goals from ex-Pilgrim Tony Edwards and Skegness Utd's Ryan O'Loughlin. On to Round 3 proper! Well done lads! Not sure how many of BUFC Reserves were playing.

Andy Hewitt was in goal, he was only one fron the reserves an as for the rest of the BUFC reserves they were not included, the side is made up mainly of manager Walden's son and his mates from Skegness utd

If its a home draw bet they will wanna play on York street,,,,,, bet league wont play it at Skegness utd,s fantastic ground and facilities,

it will no doubt be on York st and full of skeg utd players,

its about time they looked at all the lincs league teams not just the managers home town team

To be fair, I think Paul Walden gets it about right in team selection although it would be nice to get a few more representatives from BUFC Reserves. For example, Joby Gowshall should be a prime candidate for the League squad in addition to Andy Hewitt. Still, Walden has done well so far so no need to change anything at the moment!  :bunny
