Play offs, who is your pick?
« on: April 29, 2012, 08:22:33 AM »
Local interest for me as FC Halifax and Guiseley made it and looking at the form table on Ken's site (not great reading for us...) all four sides in it are carrying some decent momentum into the games.

http://www.bufc.drfox.org.uk/tab11.html

I think Guiseley will make it, good form, home advantage (possibly) in the final and have recent experience of it from last seasons campaign.

Although really it's anyone but Tinpot and I'm happy ;)

I kind of hope Halifax dont go up...thoroughly enjoyed the away game / their ground. Beats the evostik set up at Guiseley.

Guiseley if only for Chris Holland who never let us down and was given a decent hand at the end, thats one thing about our crowd, if you put in a shift you'll be appreciated, thats why that grasping money grabbing little twat at Grimity got such a poor reception last week.

Heart says Guiseley, head says Massivefax........as long as its not Grimity!

Halifax have probably got the set-up to make a fist of it in the BSP, but I think Guiseley will win, they finished 2nd, so they deserve to go up

My worry is if Gainsboring don't go up they be pulling from the same pool of players as us but with more cash to throw about we could see more players follow the cash to the Trent ala Leary

Hard one this.

Dont want guisely to go for selfish reasons. Its the game that provides the best watch and as for a few seasons.
Trinity NO
Halifax NO as the more teams in the league with good following the better for the bank account.
Nunny NO. Just for the fact i dont like them

On the form of the last three years  no one could begrudge Guiseley promotion ,
Like Bostonshire many of us would miss this good competitive fixture.

Personally I'd love to see Grimity go up...it'd finish them or their Chairman off as footballing entities......perhaps both

On merit Guiseley, but it would be nice to get rid of Nuneaton because we always seem to struggle at Nuneaton Library.

At least Grimity is a guaranteed 3 points away from home!
