I'll be there, I presume we are in the stacey west stand behind the goal? if it is segregated which is more than likely

I think it will be 1-1

I seem to remember that Lincoln were closing the Stacey West this season to save money.

I know it's only a friendly but it will be good if there was some atmosphere an noise from our fans as we are playing lincoln and we don't play them often.

It sounds like something the government would trot out. But then didn't David Cameron used to play for Lincoln?

FT Lincoln 1 BUFC 0 City scored in 87 minute from a free kick. Referee denied a seemingly good pilgrim goal in injury time. A feisty encounter by all accounts.

The boy text to say it was never a free kick that led to the winner. :-\

Listening to the radio and some youth announced the score as Lincoln 1 Boston Town 0!
Gary Simpson said he thought they were lucky. Thought we were unlucky to have a goal disallowed and said Boston were terrific.

Played well, looked the better side through out and lost to a soft goal.

Got to say it looks like a long season for the imps fans on todays showing, just didn't look anything at all.  Yes they won blah blah blah and all that, but that isn't what preseason is about.  They looked slow, clumsy and very, very direct and when Ross/Milnes got going we carved them open for fun.
So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

Better than Lincoln all over the pitch in fact their only chance was the goal they scored, I have to say that it was a poor decision in the first place but the real disappointment was the ineptitude of our keeper Timms, Having set up his wall there was only one area to shoot at and he stood there dressed pretty in pink and watched it drift into the net, the rest of the team were furious with him as was the manager who subbed him in the 90th minute and ignored his moaning as he went into the dug out. Miller turned Nat Brown every which way and was dragged down at least half a dozen times getting just two free kicks, make no mistake this lad is going to cause havoc for many defences this season. The defence looked as good as anything we have had for many seasons and I am looking forward to the first big test at Stockport. Only the good lord knows why our equaliser was disallowed.
