Fantastic gesture by the club.

Also goes to prove that DN & Co listen to supporters and are prepared to act on good ideas.

Now for the next suggestion -

FREE BEER ON BOXING DAY

The admission thing for KL fans is great but not sure about a bucket collection, given the fact that we're still in quite a lot of debt. Shouldn't any spare cash Boston fans have go towards paying that off first?

Totally agree with you on that!

Although I am pleased to see the club make such a generous offer on Boxing Day, we must bear in mind the debt we are still in.

If we were 'cash rich' then fine but we are not!

I buy a season ticket each year, am in the Alphabet lottery, buy a fifty fifty each home game, New shirt when they are launched, but that wouldn't stop me chucking a couple of quid in a bucket to hopefully help a football fan continue to watch the team they have supported for years rise from the ashes of despair. Free addmission by our club is a fantastic gesture but at the minute they need cash as much as we do. So I say to the Lynn fans bring your buckets and those that want to put in can do so. Merry Xmas to all posters :)

Have to say i agree to a part in both with the last few post regarding bucket collection, most would prefere to give to bufc but maybe just for that one day there could be that option

Fantastic gesture by our club - lets just hope that any KL fans attending support us on the day and not Stocksbridge!!!!!

There's a £5 note with KL's name on it in my wallet if they bring a bucket.

Its getting too friendly and cosy on this thread now . How about Dave giving free admission to 26 Trinity fans.

We could also bring back Garry Hill as the legend for the Boxing day game?

A great gesture from a club which I thought had nearly lost its heart.

Think we had at one point. To me its a new club without the folding part and its one to start been proud of again

I agree with all those who say that this is another sign that our club is now a very different one to that disgraced by the previous regime. Well done to all, and I hope we can welcome some of the KL fans on the 26th.

From the Linnets site

Linnets' News
Monday 14th December
Boston United offer
In a very sporting gesture, Boston United have offered free entry to Lynn season ticket holders for their Boxing Day game against Stocksbridge Park Steels.

I hope a lot of them take us up on it.

While looking at their site i see they have a community scheme.
How about a 5 aside at half time between theirs and ours?

A big thankyou to all the positive comments that made this happen. i really hope  many non season ticket holders from klfc  turn up as well.
it can only be a forward thinking  thing when  a local non league club use there fan base to make things happen.
i just hope that we can rebuild a team and be restored to as high as level as possible within non league football.
i intend to come to a few more home games if all goes well on boxing day , it could lead to a boston  1 week klfc the next if home games permitt.
A merry christmas to you all
