Title: O/T meteorite overhead!

My son shouted me 20 mins ago and showed me a green coloured object travelling horizontally through the sky.My first thoughts it was a plane on fire.Does anybody know if it could have been a meteorite.Ive seen a few shooting stars but nothing like this before!

I saw it, was at Crowland and I had been drinking ;D

Didn't know you could land anything there ???
10.56pm, burner at the front end with two small white lights behind, which I assumed were the wingtips.
It's was very low :o and not a single drink!
