It's a fair point and one that Sotnick et al were repeatedly criticised for lacking when the Boardsides stadium was mooted. However, that ground plan was ostensibly a property deal stunt dressed up as a need to maximise revenue streams - nobody was fully convinced that York Street couldn't be brought up to scratch. But now staying at York Street is an absolute non-option due to the non-renewal of the lease, so we're currently in the uncomfortable position of having to press ahead in the knowledge that if the Quadrant plan fails we'll probably end up groundsharing at Grantham until we go tits up. It's pretty scary stuff if you think too much about what happens if this gets chucked out. Which is why we have to trust that Newton's done what Sotnick failed to: done his homework.

Think the question most Boston fans need answering is, Is there a plan B?

If the requisite planning consents are not forthcoming, then what? Chesnuts will not finance the stadium build without the housing ( they are a building company)

Is it all in the hands of the planners? ( and objectors)
Are the fans being proactive? (Or like Trinity fans, sitting back and leaving it to someone else)

Don,t think there is a plan B Steeli .
Chestnuts do not do plans on fag packets , looks very much as though Lincs CC and Boston B C are keen on the development .  Helps Boston to meet Gov housing targets and LCC the first stage of a relief road .

How much would it cost to upgrade Sleaford's ground up to Conference North standard?

I went to Carlton Town (EvoStik 1 South) with a mate of mine 2 weeks ago and literally all they lack compared to Brackley's conference standard ground is a few more seats down their clubhouse side and terracing to go with the seats behind 1 goal and a shed near the other... and they need to do even less to get on par with Vauxhall!

Alot. You'd need 2 New stands. 500 seats New toilets not connected to the clubhouse. New turnstiles New fencing New floodlights. Grounds like Vauxhall might look poor but they have done the specific parts ground grading requirements. And most of them are daft sleafords ground isn't good enough to go up 1 nevermind three
