If Gainsborough had any half-decent manager they would probably walk the league, as it stands, they'll probably finish 15th

I think its in the rules somewhere they HAVE to be mid-table.

i don't think they have the leadership to win anything, despite having a good squad they need a strong manager to spur them into action.

I'd prefer they stick with Little, and stay a mediocre, mid-league team - but once we get promoted they can do what they like 'cos I shan't be interested.

i'm afraid with the best will (and bank rolling) they will always be a small team.
There just isnt the interest in the town.

now that the pre-seasons have finished i am going to predict that boston will finish just out side the play-off spots. after a slow start to the season i think we'll pick up during the new year but to late to make the play-offs.

1 nuneaton
------------------
2 halifax
3 altrincham
4 harrogate
5 guiseley
-------------------
6 histon
7 boston

i really hope i'm wrong ;)

i really was wrong. it was far worse for us than i was expecting. no other big suprises though. if harrogate stay up it might be different next year if they do go full time.
