Wind report
« on: February 05, 2011, 09:39:00 AM »

Is there anyone on here living close to Worcester who can report on weather conditions in the area?

We've had extremely high winds in Leicester for the past couple of days - and these have laid several garden fences over (last night including my own).  My dustbin is currently on its side - on the opposite side of the garden from where it started.

Hopefully we won't face another "Durham scenario" from last season, where the match was called off because of strong winds around the stadium. But it certainly won't be good conditions for playing football. Might be one of those games where you end up on the constant offensive in one half and then camped inside your own penalty area for the other.

What is it like elsewhere? Has anyone else had bad wind?
