With Jamie Vardy having the chance this weekend to set a new record for scoring in 11 consecutive Premier League games, I thought I'd have a quick trawl through the Boston United archives to see who held the Boston United record for scoring in consecutive games. I think it's held by Jim Lumby who scored in 9 consecutive games in 1982/3 (http://www.bufc.drfox.org.uk/seas82.html). The first was in a 4-1 win at Barnet and the last was in another 4-1 win this time at York Street against Shifnal Town in the FA Cup.

At the other end, there can't be many teams who have gone 10 league games without conceding, like we did under Scott and Hurst.

Stockport have a FL record of 9 or 10 wins without conceding in a row I know.... we were the first victim.
Wonder how many central defenders have scored 5 in a row like Pidge for us!
