Not a shock, snow has not shifted from here (i only work 3.5 miles from Guiseley) since Christmas Eve and temps have only once gone above zero.  I suspect this may get to be a long thread!

The OS is reporting that the Retford game is off, but that the Cup game against Sheffield has now been switched to the Jakeman's Stadium tomorrow!

We're that good that even people want to play their home games at our ground.  Wonder what cut Sheffield are getting of the gate?
So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

As it's a cup game surely the same cut Boston would have got at their house.
Only as there will probably be a much larger gate their cash sum will be bigger.
As it is only a minor cup I suppose both teams will be treating it like a friendly after the recent inactivity.

As its after an unenforced break, surely we'd play the same XI we would have against Retford - so we're ready to smash Durham next week? ;)

Up in Sheffield it hasn't! No surprise about switching the game, I couldn't have seen their pitch being fit for Tuesday.

Nice couple of games though after the break, one that doesn't matter, another we should win and two games of Church's ban used up...

With regards to the share of the gate, at their housee on cold Tuesday night, probably around 200 crowd, giving each side around £500. At York street today 538 giving each side around £1300, so both teams end up £800 better off, and I did not think that the result would have been any different. Both teams a much needed game, good result for both sides.
