BOSTON United’s crunch Blue Square Bet North clash with promotion favourites Alfreton Town has been re-arranged.

The fifth-placed Pilgrims are the only side to have beaten Alfreton in league competition so far this season, following their 1-0 victory at the Impact Arena in September.

On that occasion Danny Sleath scored the game’s only goal.

United were hoping to complete a double over their title rivals on February 5, but that fixture has now been moved following the visitors’ progress to the third round of the FA Trophy.

The Pilgrims will now travel to Worcester City on that date instead, with the Alfreton match being moved to Tuesday, March 15 (KO 7.45pm).

Alfreton have been pushed into second place by Nuneaton Town, following their midweek victory.

However, they still have three games in hand on the side two points ahead of them.
