Easier to produce than expected.  Probably because there were actually highlights this season!

By the way, if you'd like the video to a particular soundtrack then just post it below and I'll see what i can do.

Enjoy.  :)

The B-Ark / Bradford Park Avenue v Boston United Match Highlights
« on: May 02, 2010, 10:56:09 PM »
Apparently there was a match or something yesterday?

Here's a video of it, including both the goals + full time celebrations.  Enjoy!

Season highlights video will be on its way, although it will be a few weeks at least.  It'll be a while searching the hundreds of clips from August through to May to find the goals clips and then editing them together into a presentable package! I'll be adding shots of the crowd, scarves from cars, trophy presentations etc. in as well.  I've also got a few goals and pieces of footage (including the Challenge Cup celebrations) that I haven't published that will be put in.

Treble Winners

----------------------------------------------
Lincolnshire Senior Shield Winners
UniBond Challenge Cup Winners
UniBond Premier League Play-offs Winners
----------------------------------------------
A huge thank you to David Newton, Neil Kempster, Paul Hurst, Rob Scott, the players, all of the staff behind-the-scenes and of course the fans for a terrific season!  There must have been over 1300 of us there today!

It's not every season a club wins a treble, so shall we be having a day to parade all of our trophies and celebrate at York Street?  Nothing fancy, or expensive.  Just us Pilgrims, and the cups we won.  ;D

PS. For those of you who didn't go I took some highlights (including our two goals + celebrations).  I'll put them up as soon as I get a chance.

The B-Ark / Well done!
« on: April 27, 2010, 10:52:31 PM »
I think congratulations are in order for the way the team bounced back and played tonight, and have got through to a play off final.  Well done to the managers, players, staff, and the fans for a terrific turnout.  The perfect platform for Saturday. Destiny has its ways.

The B-Ark / New Shirt Sponsors?
« on: April 02, 2010, 11:24:39 PM »
As we're getting new shirt sponsors next season, I thought it would be a good chance for Patterers to boast their world renowned comic genius?  Which companies would be funny/ironic shirt sponsors for the Pilgrims?

Hopefully I can read some ideas out on www.endeavouronline.net tomorrow. (There'll be a post match interview with Rob Scott as well).

« on: March 05, 2010, 09:57:15 PM »
Interviews with both joint manager Paul Hurst AND Chairman David Newton tomorrow on the Sports Warmup between 1-3pm on Endeavour Online.  As well as debating all the biggest sports news from the week, we'll be discussing the latest signing at York Street, reviewing last week's 7-0 win at home to Ossett and previewing the clash at Durham.  The more texts and emails the better - we want Pilgrims supporters to get involved!  You get in touch either by:

Text: 07781 480 547
or Email: studio@endeavouronline.net

If you're not on the way to Durham, why not tune in to your community radio station before and as United Live prepares for kick off?  As usual, feedback is more than welcome!

The B-Ark / Crawley's Owner Flounces
« on: March 05, 2010, 06:22:09 PM »
I see Crawley's owner Susan Carter has quit through the club's internet forum.  At least she's literate (more so that Bob Blackburn anyway).

______________________________________________________________________________

I know some have been supportive, however it is not enough. Personally I am thoroughly sick and tired with not only the lack of support, but also the constant negativity.

I have given everything and more over the last 2 years, neglecting my own business, home and family in the process, why? Because I thought Crawley Town FC and the fans were worth it. Yet people who do not know me think they have the right to call me lazy and negative. Ask anyone who does know and they will tell you, you are talking absolutely crap.

People who obviously have absolutely no idea of the problems the club face do nothing else except criticise and complain. People who call themselves supporters, brag on here that they have lied to get reduced entry – effecting defrauding the club, and they are proud of themselves because they were not caught! They should be ashamed of themselves. Before anyone asks questions of me in future, ask questions of each other first.

If anyone cannot understand why the club does not do all the things you want us to do, or suggest we do, it is very simple mathematics, which I know for some is very difficult to understand.

The bottom line is, I personally paid for the sign which was supplied at a discounted price by Signs Express, for which I am very grateful to Signs Express.

If you seriously think what we receive from the attendances we get, and after people have cheated the club , that it is enough to run a football club, let alone buy new signs or make investments, you are seriously deluding yourself.

But that is not good enough is it, I work hard for the club, more hours than a full time job some weeks, for no financial reward. I work hard in at my own full time job and help support the club financially, which without it would not have survived, let alone had a new sign. But the first comment has to be sarcastic one!

It just about sums it all up, and for me I have had enough. So I say to all you smart @!)@! If you think you can do a better job, be my guest.
Like the sign, hate the sign? I do not care, without my money and the generosity of Signs Express you would not have one. What have you actually done?

In future I will be using my time and hard earned money wisely, elsewhere, where it is appreciated, it will not be for the benefit of a football club and 7-800 supporters.

I wish all our true supporters and Crawley Town FC the very best of luck in the future. I can honestly say it has been an experience, but one I do not have to continue Smile

The B-Ark / Ossett Match Thread?
« on: February 27, 2010, 07:05:04 PM »
Seeing as though one hasn't even been started!  7-0 win, another big win against a team that have drawn away at Guiseley, Kendal, and Retford.  Big wins like that make us look like a team that could win the league, but we need Bradford especially to drop points.  If we can win at Durham and follow that up with a win to overtake Retford that would really help cement a play-offs position.  Well done to the team today.  Maybe the Fans' Forum will provide some talking points?!

The B-Ark / Tomorrow's Referee
« on: February 26, 2010, 05:44:27 PM »
is Dave Plowright.  I don't often recognise referees' names from when they have previously officiated us but I do in this case.  I don't know why though, did he do a particularly bad job refereeing one of our games before?

The B-Ark / Jim Rodwell in Notts County takeover?
« on: February 11, 2010, 06:20:12 PM »
http://boards.footymad.net/forum.php?tno=402&fid=17&sty=2&act=1&mid=2122844906

Jim Rodwell is the new Chief Executive of Notts County.  He's been the spokesman for the takeover today, which is being led by former Lincoln City Chairman and Lincolnshire-based businessman Ray Trew.  Could we see Sven Goran Eriksson leaving and good old Stevie Evans on his way in?  Had to laugh about the due dilligence bit.

The B-Ark / Highlights Help
« on: January 28, 2010, 07:32:37 PM »
OK, so I got my shiny new camera at Christmas to record better footage of matches.  The problem was it recorded in the wrong format to edit all the clips together into a video.

I just bought QuickTime Pro to convert the format, but the quality once converted is poor.  This is very frustrating when the whole reason I got a new camera was to drastically improve the quality!

What can I do?  Am I going to have to buy a movie editing suite now that is compatible with .MOV files?  This is turning out to be a very expensive operation.  >:(

The Boston United Football Club Supporters' Trust AGM 2009 will be held at 1:30pm on the 12th December this year at the Boston Conservative Club, Main Ridge West.

All members and supporters of the club are welcome to attend, and it will be a chance for you have your say in the future of the Supporters' Trust and the club.  Club Chairman David Newton and director Chris Cook will be in attendance.

With recent developments at King's Lynn FC reminding us of the perils our club still faces, now is the time to get behind the BUFCST and make a positive difference to the club and community.

The B-Ark / No more highlights videos
« on: November 16, 2009, 09:19:00 PM »
Unfortunately my camera has broken and I have been unable to fix it.  So there will be no highlights videos in the forseeable future at http://www.youtube.com/user/BUFCnet.

For now I will probably upload the occasional clip from a mobile phone, as well as archive videos, until I get a new digital camera.  Which may be a while as they aren't cheap.  At least when I do get a new one the video quality will be better, as will the zoom function. Just wanted to let you know.  Cheers.
