Interesting to note that the player who fouled Tschimanga Scott Leather was sent off for a similar offence in their previous game against Harrogate! Could that be the reason he was substituted to avoid another red card in successive games? Their manager says he was substituted for health reasons but it makes you wonder, doesn't it?

Let's face it. Southport fully deserved their win. They were quicker to the ball, sharper in attack and prepared for this game better than us. Shame about Greg's red card and ring reduced to 9 men but we were well beaten by a better side by then. I didn't like that idiot Boston supporter giving Hawley some abuse at every opportunity. He needs encouragement not discouragement. Get real, man!

Totally agree with TTT regarding Nat Brown. He hasn't impressed me with his work rate. Should be leading the youngsters in terms of 100% effort and not give up when the opposition get the better of him which has happened too frequently.  We need someone like Pidge who ran until he dropped even after sustaining head injuries.
