Quote Peter Swann
"I don't know why he said it. We are sitting here planning for a new stadium in a few years' time and we have a good squad. What he has said could unnerve (our) supporters.

What the 26 hardy ones who found their way to Boston on Boxing Day?

I suppose in a Gainsborough fans eyes a team in the bottom half of the BS North is a 'good squad'.......to me its a lot of cash wasted on the same old mid table gash in front of 400 regulars.

Swans done what many of our fans wented David Newton to do, Hire a high profile manager and give him a big budget . Newton went the other route.  Which one was right ?

Money can buy you big name managers, but big name managers can't buy tinpot thugs to clug your way outta the lower leagues. Wrong manager in the right division. Trinity will always be nearly men, anything else is just silly on their 26 fans.
So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

Got  a copy of the Non League magazine today from the ground and have just been reading through it.
There's a bit in their about Swan and Trinity.
He's saying that if the Blues Club supporters won't sell him the ground, he may be  forced to relocate to a new stadium. He won't spend the money to upgrade the ground unless he owns it.
Obviously he belives in my way or no way, and seems to be at odds with the supporters, who are the rational for the football club in the first place.

They guy appears to be another non league mentalist hell bent on destroying anything in his sight.
