No bar at Ferriby this weekend

After the horse has bolted....according to .NFU facebook, the fine constabluary of Hull have banned beer sales at the ground this coming Saturday!

I would think Humberside police are praying NFU to not make the Conference Prem next season .    If they do and GTFC miss promotion the NFU V GTFC clash will be a real tester for the force .

I would think Humberside police are praying NFU to not make the Conference Prem next season .    If they do and GTFC miss promotion the NFU V GTFC clash will be a real tester for the force .
I've a good mate who's a Mariner's fan, who said the went there pre-season and the same things happened with beer, fans disagreeing, missiles, etc. It's clearly not the last time it will happen.

Another thing relating to this was the fact that given the huge number of p people present, there were people drinking from GLASS pint glasses all around the ground. These could have been quite dangerous missiles or weapons, if used. Surely plastic pints should be used in any event. Naivety again, I'm afraid.
