31 year old striker, leading goalscorer for Frickley Athletic for three successive seasons. Has left Frickley today, with their club announcing that he has had an offer to play at a higher level. Former Shaw Lane player. Anyone else putting two and two together in terms of where he may end up?

I wonder.....? Rotherham based...frickley, guiseley, goole, belper, gainsborough, Shaw lane. 6'2". He certainly fits the "profile". Apparently Frickleys 6th top scorer of all time. side issue: Jamie Maguire and Gary McSheffery also at Frickley.

If he does come lets hope he gets Allott of goals !

Don't see why Jamie should be an issue great lad while at Boston.

Thought he'd be going to Alfreton to replace Denton but they've announced another big fella. Allott would be a gamble at Step 2 as it's a big jump from Frickley where the league standard is very average indeed but might be worth a gamble. No better than Smith though so to fit them both in it'd have to be two up front which, with the two big uns might lead to some hoof ball

what i meant was not that he's an "issue " but "as a matter of interest he is also playing for them". i rated him also.

Wish I'd started a "Lionel Messi" thread now.

Looks like a decent signing, welcome Gavin to BUFC

Played really well yesterday and got off the mark, Well done Gavin.

Close to being our man of the match for me. At last what I call a proper non league centre forward.
Well done Craig for getting him here at last. Would like to see Johnson running off him up front as well.
He has pace to burn and that's what defenders in this league hate
