Reserves V Skegness Town
« on: October 13, 2012, 07:02:17 PM »
Another well deserved win today (5-1),Korey Dyer-Stewart scoring three and winning a penalty.. 4-0 at half time made the second half easy and Charlie Sanders finally got the goal he had been trying for most of the game..

Some good football played by both teams but Reserves always looked the more likely to score with each attack..

As an aside to those who were there,what did you make of the announcer today???

Was it any louder in 2nd half?? I had the mic turned on the usual settings first half then turned it up at half time,it's hard to judge what it sounds like...

great to have an announcer and some music but unfortunately you were very muffled and nobody could understand what was being said - I am sure you will rectify this so keep at it.

WELL worth a pound. no M.O.M.cause they all played well.(i no it was a cup game but we got to get in a higher leage to see the true strenth of some of these lad's) the announcer sounded like ELVIS. with a sore throat. But in your time you will become a legend just like him for sure ;;well done to you ;;

Thanks for the comments lads,it is hard to hear what is coming through the speakers and whether volume is right....

One mistake I know I made was in talking across the microphone instead of directly into it but "hopefully" will rectify that next time.... I was very nervous so maybe that is why I came across like Elvis with a sore throat :)

So,was the sound better in the second half when I increased the microphone volume,and was the music (not my choice by the way lol) loud enough or too loud?? :)

Although I couldn't hear much of it, it was really good to have music and announcements at a reserve game. It was also good to have so many spectators.
