Title: Bottle Tops
Post by: Tipps End Pilgrim on August 24, 2009, 10:10:14 AM: OK BUFC, surely it's time to stop nicking the bottle tops off the diet Pepsi when I purchase from the snack bar. I don't know any other Club in the country that still does this. I've recently visited Championship grounds where this archaic practice was outlawed years ago.

On a hot day like Saturday it just means a flat drink after 30 minutes - not to mention knocking it over spillage.

How do we put a stop to this ? I mean, I could just shove a bottle down my jeans and walk in with it anyway.

Post by: Wembley 85 on August 24, 2009, 10:29:53 AM: I agree. On Saturday my open topped bottle seemed to be a magnet for a rather persistant wasp, and by the time the bottle was 1/3 full it was fairly flat. >:(

Post by: spannerman on August 25, 2009, 12:41:45 PM: They would not let me keep my top at a freindly , saying they would carry on till instructed other wise , for that reason i refuse to buy inside the ground but always take my own , They must make a profit of about 50p per bottle so thats £20 profit lost in a season from me alone , how many more people do the same ?
