isnt that song a bit depressing though?!

i was at old trafford for the valencia game last night and as they come out they play the rocky theme tune. that tune alone got all 75,000 fired up. that would raise the atmostphere at york st. no doubt!

Been listening to "chelsea dagger"    by The Fratellis, on youtube, do you know the more I listen the more I like it, any fan can sing, la, la la, and clap their hands, and stamp their feet to the music, "dale cavese" as been suggested also, its a cracking sound, but it's adopted by so many continental clubs, its a big stadium sound, " Chelsea Dagger" could sound great being blasted out at the start and end of the games, I am not into the clubs playing music when the teams score, I think it's naff, the crowds noise should be the response when a goal goes into the visiters net.

Anybody else got any suggestions or ideas?.

Best run out music I've heard was "Conquest of Paradise" by Vangelis - at Huddersfield. Don't think the sound system at York Street is up to it though.

Failing that how about "We Will Rock You" by Queen.

When I play the Bourne movies theme: "Extreme Ways" by Moby when I'm out running I knock a couple of minutes off my time for 10K! "I would stand in line for this - there's always room in life for this"

Ah, Slade. Now they really get me going! I have a playlist on my iPod that consists of an hour of Slade's greatest hits and that consistently makes me run faster than just about any other set of tunes. Mama Weer All Crazee Now!  ;D

i am the world's biggest Slade fan.  I have seen them 7 times.  Even the imfamous time they appeared down the Glider and Malkie's dad banned them.  They were also banned from the Whitehart hotel.

They were never the same after Don the drummer Powell was on his death bed after a car crash.  They were about to break into the American market and refused to take another drummer on tour with them.  They missed out and rumour has it that Queen cashed in on Slade's demise in America.

Sadly they split up and Noddy damaged his vocal cords and can no longer sing.

Anyway what is wrong with March of the Gladiators, we always ran out to that until Mc fraud changed it.  We have also ran out to the Liquidator on the odd occasion.

No no no no no no no no no no to Chelsea Sodding Dagger, and no to 'goal music', we're not Bolton.

Great song ruined by over use at things like football matches.

Is it 'Carnival de Paris' that plays normally as you leave the ground, still quite like that, it fits both the sinking losing feeling and the wins.

The run out music there are endless suggestions, but something a little different please so no Pigbag or Chelsea Dagger.

Somthing by Zeppelin always sounds good on old knackered speakers.

So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

That would be great musically, but the title might be taken wrongly  ;)
"Kashmir" for the run out would be great, but it's been played to death on all sorts of ads, trailers and documentaries. On the other hand though most people will be familiar with it even if they don't realise!
Another Zepp track that springs to mind, from "In Through The Outdoor", is "South Bound Suarez" ;D
That would make a good pub quiz question for player's names in song titles  8)

I've just been corrected. It's "South Bound Saurez" :-[
Anyway, more suggestions.........
Michael Schenker Group - Into The Arena,
ELP - Fanfare for the Common Man,
Motorhead - Stand.
