Too many players think they are better than their club. Vince has a long way to go before he is ready for the number one position for BUFC. The agents are just out for themselves and it's a very bad move by Vince to let himself get involved. There are plenty of players I am sure that would jump at the chance of being a member of BUFC. I say let him go, we don't want anyone who is not 100% behind BUFC.
Very pleased with the attitude of Pidge, that is the type of player we need.

What a load of cobblers Tony. He's seventeen years old eighteen before next season and you expect him to sit on the bench all year bar possibly the cups. He is clearly too good to be doing that, for us, for anyone, and at his age he has to be playing and if that means a move for the boy, rather than bemoan his levels of commitment, congratulate him. In this weeks NLP, and this definitely could be his agent talking, Leicseter, Derby, Villa and Posh are all sniffing around, and whilst if he went to any of those he wouldn't be starting, if its about furthering his goalkeeping education then its absolutely right that he should get an agent, and wish to either move up, where he is playing or where he will get full time coaching. Good lucj to the lad if he moves and many thanks for your performances this season.

Remember Aaoron Butcher, he was 17 playing regularly and played a big part in keeping us up. The club convinced him to stay and sit on the bench, and where is the lad now...anybody know. Yet at the same age as Vince he was excellent and had he moved upwards as the suggestion is Vince will, where in contrast could he be now.

Harsh very harsh. If any player leaves to move higher up the pyramid (hopefully it will be with us) no-one can ever call them for it, and I dont care what Pidge or Garner says at the moment if a better offer and from a team in the conf prem or football league comes knocking, however much we may wish it not to be so, we have to accept that they will go. It doesn't suggest either that they are  not, and have not given 100% every time they play, and isn't 'THAT' all we can ask for

For the good of his career, he needs to go somewhere with specialist GK coaching, and the potential to play for the first team. I hear he's talking to a club in the North West this week...

Not a goalkeeper I know, but wasn't Simon Armstrong the same age when he left Boston United for Port Vale? He was highly regarded after that cup run to Chester. But as far as I know he never made it anywhere near the Port Vale first team; nor did he ever really play football again.

The grass isn't always greener at full-time clubs.

Went into full time university education instead I believe, played alongside him at school, he was bloody quick.
So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.
