...WISE UP EVERYBODY...........Gunn may be a Canary legend but hes no manager.......he is not a qualified coach, has none of the required "badges" and that dont inspire confidence......he was given a go last season by the Board -and he failed........time for the club to move on........Norwich are a "big" club (at this level) and the fans deserve better......they need a proven manager who can bring some players of substance with him and consequently much needed steel in the first team squad.......so I say (for what its worth) well done to the Board,a hard decision (a bit like Spurs getting rid of Hoddle) to make, but the correct one.................

Spot on there is no room for sentiment when you are in the position Norwich are in. The fact is Gunn failed last season in the games he had left and should have been given his old job back and thanked for his efforts. When Roeder was sacked  imo they should have gone for Mark Robbins who did a fantastic job at Rotherham just one lge below. Norwich can't afford one of the so called top proven managers so a punt on Robins may prove worthwhile.

Do ex keepers ever make good managers?
I'm sure someone will find an exception to the rule

The farce continues....

Gunn lost his job because of a 7-1 defeat. Who have they appointed? The guy in charge of the team that inflicted that defeat! You couldn't make it up!

Perhaps the score could be partly explained by the fact Brighton goalkeeper, and former Boston United loanee,Micheal Kuipers was sent off in the first half.
