Lincoln city have screwed us big time

They are fully entitled to recall him and are only doing what any other club would do .!

Just shows the stupidity of vince is costing us.

Why didn't the club realise that Birmingham may well not let their loan keeper play in the cup for Lincoln? It was obvious Farman may well be recalled. We need a new keeper asap, not a loan one. You cannot rely on the young keepers to cope with this league.

The Birmingham keeper has only just been disallowed permission, due to their change of manager (Lee Clark finally sacked). Lincoln are entitled to recall him, because over 28 days have passed since he joined us.

What is the situation with Andy Hewitt? There is time though for another loan keeper. Michael Emery springs to mind (sorry GHM, another Skeggy lad) but I think he is injured at moment.

I think we need to resurrect the interest we had in the Sunderland academy goalkeeper from last season. We ought to do it quickly as well - the way Sunderland played last weekend Poyet won't be too far behind Lee Clark in the dole queue.

Ex-Lincoln goalkeeper Alan Marriott was released by Mansfield in the summer. At that time he was living in Lincoln and was hoping to get a part-time deal somewhere locally whilst setting up his own business as an electrician. I've not heard anything since and don't think he has surfaced at any of the non-league clubs in the area. I wonder if he is still in Lincoln and still wanting to play football part-time? If nothing else, it might solve a problem for three matches?

Ben Killip - Norwich City U-21 keeper who spent some time at King's Lynn Town last season - would be a good short-term signing. (No GHM, he is not from Skegness!)

Possibly there has been a deal arranged with Lincoln that Farman will return to us after the cup game?

If Lincoln win Saturday he will be needed again in 2 weeks time so that would not be possible.

Does anyone know what Mike Pinner does on Saturday afternoons? He's only a sprightly eighty so should be good enough for this league. If not maybe we could tempt Chris Woods to give it a go. ;D
