If u check out DG's record at BUFC with strikers it's probably without comparison. Just go with Ricky, Dayle, ok Newsh was already here, but he had faith in him. John Sands was decent then he signed Smithy. OK Lamin & Fairhurst didn't do it; but they were on the cheap, after he lost an entire squad. Let's not forget Mark Jones either, or even Ryan Robbins....most of the afore mentioned easily eclipse any strikers the last 2 gaffers have signed. DG told me twice that Cameron J would end up being a top non league striker??

Great striker before he left with a couple of others to D&R?

Second spell when he was much older didn’t cut it though and proves the age old adage of never go back.

Too young to remember his first spell, but I remember when he came back to much fanfare and hype.... actually might be a good candidate for "biggest disappointment" in the other thread.

Not only did they take our best players, they took our manager  Cusac.  I think that's how you spell his name.

Absolutely rubbish manager and a useless player, didn't he come in under Kerr, and then caused loads of trouble in the dressing room, so he could oust Kerr and take his job.
Or did l dream that.

Sorry yc69 but have to disagree about Cusack being a rubbish defender he was a class apart from anything that we have currently and his distribution was excellent.

Don't be sorry matey, that's what the forum is for giving your opinions.
I probably haven't done him enough justice.
