It seems that all the players from last season that were too good for our league and have moved on up are helping their new teams to struggle at their elevated level. The ones moved across the league are mainly doing ok, but most have dropped down at least one level to varying levels of success.

The ones we have got to replace them seem to be doing alright at this level, and hopefully if we hold onto Scott and Hurst, could be doing alright at the next level.

I think it was at the managers introduction meeting, when Newton said to them, "I don't expect to achieve anything this season", Scott replied "I bloody do."

Spurs have scored more in a top flight game. The day Billy Nic took over as manager at the Lane they beat Everton 10 - 4.

Scored again Saturday as Kettering beat Cambridge 2 0. Kettering up to 3rd so could end up in
league next season.

Scored Saturday for Harrogate to equalise against Gainsborough. That's one more league goal than Ollie Ryan has got for them.

I said after the friendly against Boston Town when Suarez scored with his head we need to sign him. Another MOM performance from a big strong centre forward shows how important a physical presence at the front is at this level of football.
I made him my MOM but Weir-Daley ran him close.
