Long Eaton United . . a rough town club who have never risen above Midland League 1960s
  My brothers mate once managed them ..
 Then my brother was offered a trial at Ilkeston Town ..but chose education .

Good luck to him, but I feel he will struggle to get a deal there.
To many players ahead of him, silly lad really leaving us unless he had a concrete offer on the table.
At least he would have been a certain starter at Boston.

He was on a youth loan, which meant we didn't have to pay any of his wages. It also meant that he could play for County (first team/reserves) during the loan, and could also be cancelled at any time.
