They don't seem happy about it! I think they're appealing...

They're closer than Gloucester City.
They have to remember the rest of the league have to travel to them too.

From our point of view, Bishop Stortford is quite a good pick to come into our league as it's a relatively easy drive to get to when compared to other clubs in our league or others that could come across from the south. Went there for our match when we last played them around 10 years ago now, a late Newsham goal if I recall right.

Yep, was Non League Day and an early kick off.

Yup was a great day.

Though I was more interested in the planes flying over than the football.

FA appeal against being  put in the North on this Wednesday.
Seeing as they've already been in this league in the past I give them no chance of success. Other options are either Hemel Hempstead or Braintree near Colchester so the options aren't great.

I suspect they know they have no chance but have to go through the motions to say "they did everything they could". Their only hope, I think, would be for another club to volunteer to take their place!

Stortford lost their appeal.

Welcome to the north, lads!

Instead of a weekend trip to Taunton, Yeovil or Torquay they get  South Shields , Blyth and Southport. Plenty of long journeys in both leagues.
Once you get to step 2  the travelling can't be avoided.
