BOSTON United were knocked out of the FA Youth Cup following a 5-1 humbling at the hands of League Two Shrewsbury Town on Wednesday evening..
The Pilgrims competed well at Greenhous Meadow, but conceded three goals in a mad five-minute spell during the second half which effectively killed off the tie.
United had levelled at one stage through Scott Dawson, but Shrewsbury’s Football League pedigree shone through in the end to book a trip to Notts County in the second round.
