Just read this on the Status Quo message board from an Alfreton fan, "Before the game one of the Alfreton Fans had a heart attack and died on the way to hospital......."

Terrible news,sad that he couldn't join in the celebrations,condolences to all :(

Obviously a sad event.

Although this sounds like it happened before the game, it makes we wonder if there is an increased risk of such things during playoffs, cupfinals etc.

I think if we all we to wear heart monitors during crunch matches we might find they are potentially dangerous experiences.

I remember feeling unwell when we played Wrexham, it was almost a relief when they equalised.
