Good result - better that Solihull lost.

Agreed, top of the playoffs is our target now.
So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

Guiseley face an uphill task now to get into the play-off positions. Their next games are against Solihull and then Alfreton.

I'd say 3rd is the best we can get now. Telford and Alfreton to finish as the top 2.

3rd would be a great achievement in our first season back at this level.

Hope Alfreton can do us a favour by beating Guiseley and Solihull when they play them again.

3rd has to be the aim. Wouldn't this mean at home 1st in the semis? Win by the odd goal and keep it tight away!

The aim isn't to finish 3rd, it's to win every game...

Finishing 3rd means we play 4th away first, then at home and hopefully play 5th at home in the final...

Sorry a bit late with this post, but went to Alfreton v Solihull on Monday and saw a cracking performance from Alfreton. As on Saturday the Solihull No.6 elbowed, pushed and grabbed his way through the 90 minutes mainly against Aden Flint and Paul Clayton. Alas, the referee had a weaker spine  than a jellyfish so when Charlie O'Loughlin (Solihull's No 6) elbowed   Flint to the the floor in the second half  he was given a yellow card. No wonder Nicky Law was getting upset during the game.Numerous decisions went against the home team who played some great stuff particularly down the wings and should have won by more. Josh Law finished twice but Solihull finished the game looking tired and jaded.
When Alfreton can afford to have players  the calibre of Nathan Jarman, Daryl Clare and Ian Ross on the bench I have no doubt they will win this league.
In an exclusive interview with the BUFC Nottingham supporters , ( Colwick branch ) Daryl confirmed that his best man (Paul Ellender) has retired from football, and he's staying with Alfreton till the end of the season and then has a year left at Cambridge.
