im surprised by the amount of people that would not retain foster, i think he looks a good outset but i think ward has got to go, apart from the month last season when he got potm, he just looks a liability at the back.

I think the biggest problem for DG will be to find a keeper, haystead has let us down far to many times this season

I am told had it not been for HAYSTEAD and STAINFIELD on sat. things would have been a lot worse.

as for retained players, going on the last 2 home games not many.

at the moment it will be pay as you go for me, not a season ticket

Stainfield was always GD scapegoat!!, I do think Haystead has suffered under a shaky defence.

I thought maybe REED would have been given a run out as 3rd. sub on sat.
D.GREENE says he his giveing players time to prove themselves.
I believe REED has had 50min. so far.

Newsham, Ross and Weir-Daley sign up for next season with deals also offered to Fairclough, Mills, Milnes, Reed and Stainfield.

Marshall is the big omission so far for me - still young and improving and should be offered terms.

EDIT - Just looked again at the picture on the previous post. Why is SWD signing a blank sheet of paper?

We will fill in the travel expenses later, don't worry.
So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

DG mentions on the video on the OS he is looking to keep 9 of the current squad, with 3 signed up and 5 others offered terms it only leaves one left - silk or conner most probably as both are quite versatile.

Lets hope the rebuilding can begin in earnest in the summer

I think I'd keep Marshall too, we've always struggled for a consistent right back.  He does make a few mistakes, but he is always keen to drive forward too without being too attack minded like the other Fairclough.

I think it will between silk or Marshall who he keeps. I would personally keep Marshall. Looks like we will see least 7 new players in the summer. What positions do we think we need to push towards play offs? I say a decent keeper, left back,2 centre halfs, left winger, centre mid and a target man.
