For all the euphoria we have to remember we finished 6th in a desperately poor league and as much as we may love this group, some of them are not good enough for the step up. Harsh, but reality.

Thanks Ken. Every year is another brutal reminder I know absolutely nothing about football, but cheers anyway!

I wouldn't pin your hopes on Rowe staying, from what I've heard. Far too good for us and scouts have noticed.

Really? Where did you see that? From the National League TV website:

"There are currently no upcoming fixtures scheduled, please check back later."

I keep reiterating the point, but it's worth bearing in mind Brackley can accommodate significantly more away fans than we can (and will be able to even after the south stand is built without giving up half the ground and compromising our away advantage). So I'm not about to start moaning about the numbers allocated! I was lucky enough to get a ticket this morning, but it was blind luck I guess.

Stuck this on Twitter for you as well, Johnny!

The allocation is smaller due to a larger number of league officials and broadcast crew (and equipment) in attendance.

Good question. I reckon they'll probably just get this general ticket sale out of the way in the next hour then they might release more info (or at the very least you'll be able to ring and ask!)

I think that was because they were only doing telephone and in-person sales. I tried repeatedly to get through on the phone to no avail and obviously I don't live in Boston so I couldn't queue either (in the end I bought a ticket of someone who couldn't make the game).

There will be a mad rush online I suspect. Good luck everyone!!

I agree with Ken's computer. But I'm desperately hoping I'm wrong.

He's probably getting sick of people asking - but a statement about the realistic timelines as of now would be appreciated!

Hazel is already signed for next season I believe. Yes, I agree, from what I've seen he's looked very ropey but I just attribute that to the injury and perhaps being pressed into service a little earlier than he would otherwise have been. I think (hope!) once he's had a full summer to recover he'd be back to his earlier best.

We've got a good group - the question is whether we're serious about retaining the more talented members of it, and I suspect regardless of what happens at Scunny and hopefully) Chorley/Brackley if we get there, this summer is going to be another very important one but for different reasons. Last season it was about building a squad around a new model; now it's about building on that work and keeping the best players. Otherwise we're just back to square one, and all the rhetoric during the season about the "group" will ring hollow.
