Title: FAO Oxo
Post by: Scouse Pilgrim on January 04, 2012, 05:01:03 PM
Dear Mr Melvin mOXOn why did you and your Trust Board sanction the purchase of £3,000 of worthless BUFC shares?

Have you heard of due diligence and accountability to your membership (whose money much of this was)?

One cursory look at the BUFC balance sheet will show you that shareholder funds are worthless.

We look forward top hearing from you.

BUFC Trust purchase of shares, allowed a member to be on the board, if I remember correctly?

Has this happened?

Here they come the conspiracy theorist. Why don't you e-mail the club and put all your points to the people that can answer your questions.

because that wouldn't feed the over inflated ego , expect Roosters other two cronies to pop up soon to start giving him some backing unless the luxury liner on the broads is still pike fishing

Rammy,

I think at least one of his cronies has moved to the south of France to start his own business installing telegraph poles.

installing telegraph poles ? you mean like Sky install a satellite dish ? most bizarre thing ive ever heard , but then again look who wrote it

Roaster had his day , bottled it , went mad , clutched at straws and finally sulked his way back into a cheap bottle of plonk . He's about as significant now as he was then .

DL how can you possibly have the affront to pretend you don't know if MA is male or female, or are you just confused about your relationship with him.

Oxo,

It's funny because you come across as not being able to hold your own against Scouse Pilgrim. I don't know anything about his sexuality at all - not my area of expertise that !

If there'd been a few more about like oxo back in the dark days of Evans,Sotnick,Rodwell and Lavaflow maybe just maybe the rotten regime wouldn't have got away with what they did. Sadly the place was awash with apologists and lick spittle's who were all for giving Evans 'a second chance'..........

Talk about self defeating. The fact that he has returned with his poisonous talk proves that the club chairman and his board are getting things very right and he is unable to live with the fact we still have a great club to support.
Goodnight everyone and if anyone wants to speak to me send me a pm I will only be too happy. I will also be going to the trophy match at Dartford and will have two seats available in the car (no cost) let me know I will pick you up.
Up the Pilgrims.

Gastronauts, If I recall right the option to purchase BUFC shares using Trust funds was put to a vote in the sports bar and was unanimously passed.

My questions are - How many shares did the Trust receive for £3000 and who holds the share certificate.

Yoy can get the answer to that by doing what oxo suggests in a post above.

I recall there was plenty of Evans loyalists at that time, the supporters were split 50/50.

I will never witness our highest league position (11th in Division 2) in my lifetime again. :(

Hopefully though we will get to the top of the non league pyramid one day :bunny

What is the basis for this, our footballing ambition or the state of your liver?

Received a PM from KF asking how many shares the Trust received for the £3000. He also asks who is holding the share certificate.
I still don't know who KF actually is but I will post the reply here so everyone knows the answers.
I quote the letter from the club signed by David Newton on the 8th June 2009.
"Further to the payment of £3000 to the football club, and the approval at the AGM that was held on 23rd April, I am pleased to enclose the Share Certificate for 12,000 shares purchased." He then went on to "Thank all at the Trust for your continued support" and express his delight that the Trust had secured shares in the club.
The certificate is in my possession.
