Reserves beat Holbeach in friendly
« on: January 28, 2014, 11:41:13 PM »
The reserves have tonight beaten UCL champions Holbeach utd 3-2 with goals from Joe Daubney, Louis Saebe and Liam Ogden. from what I understand it was a friendly arranged by Holbeach behind closed doors.

well done to the reserves, there definatly good enough to play at least UCL level.

Good result! Wonder what those who constantly knock our 2nd XI think now? Glad Oggie back to scoring ways!  :bunny
Alan Partridge: "I bet I've got more friends than you've got cows. How many cows have you got?"
Farmer: "I've got 100 cows."
AP: "Well, I've got 104 friends!"

from what been said oggy's was the winner with a lob from outside the box.  the reserves went 1-0 up,  2-1 up and finally 3-2 up.

I have to say there better than anyone on this patter site give them credit for

As I have posted before, the Reserve lads deserve a lot of credit, the team is made up of a lot of young lads still growing and a lot of teams are big hefty lads who don't mind a few dirty tackles going in but the lads take it in their stride and win the game.. Next time the first team are away and Reserves are at home, get down to York Street and watch the lads and see there are some good young lads coming through.... :)
