While Mikel is certainly a better header of the ball than Danny I don't think he can handle the physical side of the game as well as Danny can, plus Danny is quicker off the mark than Mikel who just seems to jog around the pitch.

I still remember seeing Steve Chambers' goal on MOTD, a 25-yard screamer from what I can recall. There have been some goals from the Premiership that I have on MOTD since and none have stayed in my mind as long.

I think Vandanel have serious financial problems and the receivers have been called in. Without sounding selfish I hope they don't owe money to Boston Utd as it could slightly undo all the good work Messers Newton and Kempster have done this past couple of years.

if thats the case someone better find the bradford mini chavette. she took off with sleaths no 8 shirt after raiding the changing room ;D ;D ;D

Surely Billionaire Bob could afford to buy her and the vast legion of BPA fans a Boston Shirt each?  :)

Some teams change their strips every season regardless whether or not they've changed sponsor so all in all we're better off than fans of other clubs.

When we beat Workington 2-0 in our very first game in the BSN. After a turbulent summer and with eleven complete strangers playing their first competitive game together, to still win was a marvellous achievement.

I think Tommy Taylor did a very good job in difficult circumstances, it's just a shame it all went downhill for him in the Unibond.

I just hope Evans doesn't stick his oar in, I can imagine some of his comments: "I'm really pleased for Boston after the last couple of years they've had", "the club and it's fans have special place in my heart" and "the supporters probably regard me as being one of their best ever managers".

I've got to go now as I think I'm going to be sick  :(

The FCUM fans delivered another memorable moment for me when they started doing the conga despite seeing their team 4-1 down! How many other visiting fans did that (granted most of teams visiting support didn't number enough to start a decent conga line).

I wouldn't wish our experiences of the Evans era on any team, not even Lincoln (Ouch, that hurt to write that)

Buxton and Guisely at home with their late drama, getting Revenge on Nantwich with a double thrashing and Nathan Korentang's first goal against Durham - straight after Newsham's goal. I know it was only Durham's kids but it was still a great goal. Perhaps we could get him back on loan next season as I don't think the BSN is full of thugs and he might be a bit stronger and able to cope with it better.

Well I think Jamie Clarke will be the first one out of the door - as with the rest, although I haven't been a fan of either Cully or Wood they should be given a chance to see how well they adapt to a higher level. Another goal-keeper would be handy - we should keep Butcher though and send him out on loan to another club for the season so he can gain plenty of first team experience.

I do wonder if Hurst and Scott see Milly as being injury prone and might let him go? I hope not as he should be given a chance to show what he can do.

Thanks Spalding Linnet, I hope the reformed King's Lynn have a very successful first season in the UCL.

An End of Season do in the Pilgrim Lounge is a great idea Frieston Fan - hopefully someone at the club will have read that and put something into motion.  Gordonchas, there is no way Mr Newton bought promotion as the club is still losing money, we are just lucky enough to have a management duo who can bring in good players on a tight budget. Although I have to admit that Boston United is a big enough 'name' in non-league football to attract players who would be happy to play for the club despite perhaps not being offered the biggest wage.

I for one wish BPA success next season but there are people in the game, like Mr Blackburn, who have big ideas for non-league clubs then bail out if it goes all wrong - Leigh Genesis anyone?

We could just give the townend to Telford fans when they visit like we did with FC Utd this season as none of the other teams will bring enough to even nearly fill up the away seg at the York Street end.

The trophy did look like a flower vase but what else can we expect from a tin-pot league. It may well be in Mr Newtons office with flowers in it now  :).  A big well done to everyone at the club, it's nice to know that we've won promotion legally this time and it's also nice to know that Bob Blackburn's money has failed to buy promotion for BPA - again  ;D.  By the way has anyone spotted Avenuefan on here lately only I haven't seen a post from him congratulating us for winning promotion.
