Ended up going to the Thatched Cottage at Sutterton. Would thoroughly recommend - great service and food to match.

You'd be better off turning right and going to the Kings Head at Frieston, from what I've heard the food at The Castle is a bit 'ding' while the food at The Kings Head is home cooked.

You will go a long way to beat the meals at The Wheatsheaf at Hubberts Bridge......superb.

Castle at Haltoft End.

Nothing spectacular (Usual Batemans jazzed up menu)

Spectacular prices to match menu.

Large chiller containing run of the mill shop bought deserts.

have the same eating experience at any chain pub, for a lot less.

Try The Wheatsheaf next time, you'll not be disappointed.

But book in advance, it gets busy.

What! No Mr Cook spouting forth on the culinary delights of the meals at Boston United!?  Shame.   :P
