I am always confused by the term "true gentleman".

Are there any false gentlemen out there?

Are "true gentlemen" permitted to spit in public?

Is a "gentleman" trying to improve himself therefore an aspirant "true gentleman" (TG).

Do you need to be educated in a certain way to be a TG?  or is it innate? or are you only called a TG when you are sacked in order to be let down more gently?

I am not a "gentleman", nor am I a "sir" or a TG.

Who considers themselves a "TG" on here. And is it worth anything if you are a "true gentleman" and yet still fail in life?

What's wrong with just being an "ordinary" bloke.

And don't get me started on that "family man" stuff. Some of the biggest crooks claim to be "family men" :snowman

I guess the football version of that is the seemingly never ending 'true supporter' nonsense.   :dan

Oh come on now, it is only Blue Square North, they are supposed to know what's going on at the clubs under their juristriction, so, ofcourse, they're bound to get mixed up between the "Chairman of a club" and the "assistant manager" ::)

I was called a *wat once.I know, I know, your all asking "only once". He got a poke on the snout.
I was also called a gentleman once because I held the door open for Princess Diana. Does that make me a gentleman.

Of course  :xmasdeer
