Looks like Bradford Park Avenue are facing a winding up order on the 14th July, yet another team who followed the dream and ends up with a nightmare.

  PETITION SERVED TO WIND-UP AVENUE
05/07/2010

A Petition to wind up Evo-Stik League Premier Division club Bradford Park Avenue by HM Revenue & Customs, claiming to be creditors of the company, will be heard at the Royal Courts of Justice in London on July 14th 2010, at 10.30am.

The Petition was presented on May 27th by HMRC, shortly after Avenue had been beaten by Boston United in the Premier Division play-off final.

This summer has seen Simon Collins take over as manager at the Horsfall Stadium, but he has been forced to work with a severely reduced wage budget compared to last season.

Bob the builder is claiming the tax man is trying to take money that isn't due. Surely the tax man wouldn't try such a move Bob  ::)
