Can't wait until Saturday to see us thrash Housham again! Let's get 1300 and 26 through the gate! This could be Houshams last game here. He's getting the push at the end of the season apparently.
Mr Blackwell should be down West Street recruiting some Poles to support our keeper!!!
-
I think we need to do the business on the pitch before bigging it up... makes any fall harder
-
Full of confidence! We will win and by at least 3!

It would be good to see another 5 goals from the Pilgrims, but Housham is aiming to put a dent in our playoff chances so he must be planning on scoring 6 :dan
No sign of JB in East Street yet, and he's definitely not in the Eagle :police:

By my calculations if we beat Houshams outfit by 5 goals (4 even ) we will move into the play-offs next Saturday whatever the result is between Hednesford v Tamworth .
-
Yep, a 4-0 win does it for definite, otherwise any win will do if Tamworth v Hednesford isn't a draw
-
How the mighty fall might fall!! Remember our track record at home to these apart from last season is pretty poor. I will be happy to win the game with a scratty goal and just get 3 points. Cant see us scoring loads of goals on Sat. Lets get realistic.
-
While we may just be happy with winning ugly, they must be scared of letting us score more than last season!!
-
As long as we get more than them I don't mind.
-
Nice to see you back posting on here DT, hope you're fit and well now.
-
I see next weekend hednesford and oxford play each other so either one will lose points or not gain all 3 could really help us. Depends how much we win this sat to if it really matters though.
-
We need to press on and take all six points from these next two home games against Gainsborough and Worcester. The two games after will be even tougher, away at Oxford and home to Tamworth.

We have no reason for any negativity

Well, Housham has revealed his motivational speech...
"I might just tell the lads it's a County Cup game because we always seem to beat Boston in that,"

CAHNCES! I know what your trying to say :)
On form you must start as favourites but being Blue my forecast is a 1-2 away win!

Seems clear to me that stevie blue has had one too many sherberts in the blues bar. It will be a good result if they only concede as many as last year?

I agree Stevie I think all the pressur ein this game is on Boston.
Whilst Trinity are in a relegation fight we have games against other clubs in and around us and we should look to get points out of them. We are also not expected to get anything from this game based on recent results and the history of games between the two clubs.
Boston on the other hand are fighting for a play off spot and need to take points against the teams at the bottom to keep the push going. Something which on many occasions has been the undoing of a lot of clubs.

With the risk of been smashed by other Boston supporters I think its going to be a lot closer than most Boston fans think, And while Boston home form points to dishing out a Hammering again I just think it be a odd goal ether way.
Derby games are always hard to guess and form is meaningless

Are Trinity really in a relegation fight? Hyde have gone pretty much whatever happens. Stalybridge Celtic are eight points behind Trinity on level games, and Colwyn Bay, Brackley and Leamington can't catch Trinity as the table stands at present. Plus there's always one club that gets relegated from a mid-table position based on not meeting clause 3 paragraph 4 sub clause 1 of the ground grading criteria. I think Boston will beat Gainsborough on Saturday, but I don't think Trinity will go down.

The day has come!!!

Hard fought result.
Top marks to ref :)

Should be his final at York Street! Rumoured Drury is there next season!
-
Housham has no class. Celebrated the equaliser in Dennis's face... then wasn't happy when DG returned the favour!!

Hard fought result.
Top marks to ref :)
Now I wonder what the Ref did to make you :)?

Fantastic result today. Lads battled hard and deserved the three points although the two pen decisions could have gone the other way. Jonah, Felix and Southwell ran the ragged first half and we should have scored another before half time. Gainsborough started better second half and scored with their first chance on target. Hats off to Southwell for a well taken pen for the winner. Decent attendance and atmosphere today. Back in the top five at the right time of the season.
-
Three very welcome points today.
I thought that in the first half we were head and shoulders above them. Only Davis appeared to be on his game for them. Great goal from Jonah.
Second half they stepped it up, and we retreated into our shell a bit. We invited the pressure onto us, but for all of that, they hardly created anything. Sloppy goal to give away.
Was surprised to get our penalty, I didn't see anything - but I will take it.
Den's "other-half" sat next to me throughout the game. Nice lass. Told her that he will be happy tonight, and that he ought to buy her a Chinese 8)
-
Was it my imagination or did Gainsborough improve after Yates was substituted? I'm sure it was just coincidental though :).
Roll on Saturday against Worcester.

Kyle Dixon... used to look like Paul Scholes, now does his best Phil Jones impression!
