Retford game - changes
« on: September 20, 2009, 10:32:35 PM »
Despite being a Jamie Clarke fan hopefully hopefully Dan Cotton will be given a start playing as an out and out winger. Can't see the tactics changing too much so same back 5 (unless Cannovile is fit which would likley see Parker pushed to right back and Wood dropped) same midfield and Newsham and Suarez (again unless Davidson is fit) with Cotton on the right flank and Sleath covering the left slighly more instead of playing as a narrow three in midfield.

Get behind the team/managers and the luck at home could change!

Wood had a better game on Saturday, so I wouldn't drop him.

I'd probably go 442 with Cotton on the left, and Newsham on the right, with Suarez and Clarke up top. Church and Sleath in the centre of midfield, and the same defence...

I'd go along with Big-Tom. Leave the tall ones out. I think If ellie plays he could easily blot him out.

Makes sense because his reverse pace let him down slightly.

Think it is fair to say that the Boston Massive have a different opinion on Elly than your Retford compatriots. ::)

In 20 years time Elly will return to Boston on 3 consecutive home games as a United legend.
