Title: New Assistant Manager
Post by: York Street Pilgrim on March 06, 2013, 05:58:18 PM

Article here about Michael Jolley. (I'm assuming this is the same guy who is Dennis Greene's number two)?

At the end of the day he's made a mistake in the past, paid for it and now we move on. Best of luck to him in my opinion. But I'm sure there'll be one or two people who don't agree with me ...

I'm guessing Tony Scully will follow him as he did from St. Neots to Histon

Do we need one, I still think its best to have 1 than 2 or 3, make them full time so they can do there homework on tactics and other teams around Training etc. Always think as a manager its best to see for yourself

For a full time team there might be a benefit but when the players only get together one night a week for training whats the point, its up to them to keep themselves fit the best way they can. I think that statement just shows the commitment and self discipline they need to be able to play the game, its not just a turn up on Saturday thing.

DOES he need an assistant for this season DG. is getting good IMFO. from within about our players thats for sure.
IF he gets the nod for the job next season he will no who he wants with him.
same as players now that stainfield can play c/mid it as made that area stronger and another option.
