Apparently leading 2 - 0 at half time, Miller and Newsham (I think) :)

Newsham got an opportunist goal
Millers was SUPERB....an absolute screamer. Worth the entrance fee on its own.
Third was a cleverly taken free kick from just outside area. Rather than just smashing it somewhere they played it round the wall.
Thought No6 looked solid and No4 was a good player as well.
Milnes and Ross did well
We WILL not be in the bottom half next this season :)

I think saying no 6 looked solid was a understatement

Who played for Mansfield  ?
Talking to a fan/security guy and he said it was half first team and half the second team.
I asked him if it was the bad half, he laughed and said Yes.
Apparently the first team played Coventry last night.
We still played very well though and deserved the win.
Hope some one got a video of Millers goal!

Although Ricky probably got MOM, number 6 was fantastic! Not certain what his name is, the announcer was about as clear as mud! Also number 4 had a cracking game too, we did lose our shape once 4 went off though.

check the grassy knoll and why the hell has Green King IPA been removed from the PL!! Why the hell do you lot keep messing about with the beer? I see all the shite lagers still on sale but IPA, no it's fooking gone.

also great to see us scoring from set pieces. i remember the end of last season where we scored 2 identical free kicks, they have obviously been worked on a lot in training.

Would be more than happy to see todays starting line up at Stockport. Ok its a pre season game and I am not getting carried away but we looked really solid all over the pitch. The back line were full of confidence and yes No 6 Piergianni was outstanding. No4 who I believe was Aujla was also first class in the middle allowing Milnes to push on and Rossy the room to play his excellent passing game. All in all a very encouraging performance. As for Mansfield I don't know who their first team will be but clearly their whole squad were there and there were certainly no young kids amongst those who played.
