Happy New Year...
I may be jumping the gun, but is Scott Garner about to return? He’s in the Main Stand this afternoon...

As good a defender as any at this level. Played well for Guiseley against us earlier in the season. Would be good cover for Shiels whilst he's suspended.

After watching the horror show today, l bet he will get in his car, drive away and never return.

Piergianni not getting into Salford's team for past number of weeks.

Can't say I'm surprised....far too slow for that level.
Bet he ends up at Fylde.

Would it be worth it for the 1 game he's suspended for, when we already have alternatives in the squad?

Not even getting a game at present, not sure it’s progress.

He was suspended for their last 3 games.
He's back, permanently.

Good signing.

Welcome back Scott!

The last time I saw Scott play [for Halifax], he crippled Liam Agnew in a 4-1 defeat for the Pilgrims at York St. when DG was the manager. He did have the manners to enquire about his welfare as the stretcher arrived. He didn't even get a yellow card.

I remember that, shocking tackle, evidently saw Agnew as a threat. I’ve been thinking we need a nasty bas**** in the side, we sometimes need some one to put the boot in. Garner will bring that hopefully.

I think he will be a decent asset to this team.
By the sounds of things, he was a target in the summer, and was earmarked for the centre half position alongside Shields.
