The B-Ark / Re: Reserves beat League Leaders

Looks like Gainsborough Town were a bit of a dirty team in this game - 8 players booked and 2 Sent off! Hope the Lincs League Committee take action against them - but doubt if they will. Again, well done to Vinno and the lads. :bunny

The B-Ark / Reserves beat League Leaders

Our young (ish!) Reserves beat Lincs League Leaders Gainsborough Town 2-0 yesterday - perhaps this was a better achievement than the first team yesterday? Hopefully there will be some mention of this brilliant result on the Official Site tomorrow. Reserves now up to 4th place. Well done Vinno and his team!  :bunny

The B-Ark / Re: Team for Saturday?

We all knew that DG would bottle it! Timms is the only real choice to play in goal today if still connected with Club. In hindsight, perhaps DG should have kept is dirty washing to himself rather than announce that Timms was leaving the Club - when clearly he isn't going anywhere!  :bunny

Looks like Timms is set to play this afternoon after all! Kiss and make up time?  :bunny

Obviously Timms still believes he is a law unto himself something that has been a disaster for him in the past. If he is challenging the manager then that cannot be tolerated and the manager has no alternative than to act, will Timms eat humble pie and apologise? if so will Geene make up and welcome him back into the fold?. Fairclough although very loyal does need games and does not add much from the bench. Bore has not in the main impressed, he has showed little enthusiasm and had a mare on Saturday had he not been replaced at fullback by Marshall we would have lost, I have never seen him smile even when he scored the worldy and gives the appearance of not being together with the rest. We don't want any players at Boston who think they are above the club.
Well said!

So, who has to leave the Squad if Steer joins?

Well done lads!!!  You've done us proud! :bunny

I thought afterwards that might possibly have been the case as it was such a weird ending - but the result is stated on both our and Lincs League Website. Not sure where the Referee came from  - hope he is not involved in the Lincs League again. :bunny

Not 100% sure if he booked Boston player at end but you could be right - didn't see a yellow card but then he was such an "unusual" referee I am not quite sure what he was doing! I think he was a bona fide official in this League otherwise the 2 assistants would have done something - but he did seem out of place and character. I did ask some of the Ruston players after the game if they had seen him before but they hadn't. Even though they won, they said the guy was not strong enough to officiate at this level! Not sure if the Club should take a lead in this and make a report to the Lincolnshire League Committee? Not wishing to slam Referees as they are all volunteers at grassroots but, if it is compromising the safety of players, action should be taken. :bunny

The most inept Refereeing performance I have ever seen (well for 10 years at least!). Ruston were deserved winners but the Ref was the main talking point. How many fouls did he miss? A total joke of an official and the ending of the game was most bizarre when, instead of punishing a bad foul and retaliation, decided to shirk his responsibilities and blow the final whistle early - to the amazement of players, managers and spectators. Weird! Boston never really looked like scoring and injuries picked up by Dongo and Delahoy will now be a concern. Good performance by substitute Joby Gowshall and a number of great saves by Andy Hewitt are the only positives I can think of!  :bunny

The B-Ark / Lincolnshire League XI - First Round of FA Inter League Cup
« on: September 29, 2013, 07:58:36 PM »
Congratulation to the County League Rep side who beat the Peterborough & District League XI 2-0 in Peterborough yesterday. Again, it looks like our local lads played against a disorganised side (in the Prelim Round, lazy West Yorks could only be bothered to select players from one club!) with some home nominated players apparently not turning up on time. A win's a win though and hopefully Lincolnshire can get a home tie in Round 2 :bunny :bunny

Odd move for a talented player. Should have stuck with a level 2 club. Once you drop down the Leagues you are soon "yesterday's man".  :bunny

One thing is for sure - both Sleaford Town and Huntingdon have poorly maintained websites - doggy do do level to be precise! Well done Craig for keeping ours updated all the time!

A total disgrace that only a Yellow Card was shown. How on EARTH was that JUST a Caution? Blatant Dismissal. The Referee MUST be sanctioned for not taking the correct action as per the Laws of the Game. In the meantime Hobson faces no further action and Garner receives a hefty dentists bill. No Justice in this game. :bunny
