Contract cancelled mutually
He who would valiant be , 'gainst all disaster.
Let him in constancy follow the master.
There's no discouragement shall make him once relent
His first avowed intent, to be a Pilgrim.

John Bunyan, 1684

Best midfielder in the division....apparently !
Guess this summed up Murrays judgement during his tenure.

Was he a bad player or did Murray just not know how to get the best out of him ?

To label Chapman as he did on arrival then play him in that ultra defensive role contributed to the demise of both at the club. For us he was a 3rd central defender. We will never know what he would have been like in his preferred creative midfield role? Yes Stags fans critical of AC under AM, they say he was much better under Cox & excellent in L2 for Newport. We can only go on what we witnessed & he knew himself it was over.

Nearly fell off chair laughing at below Quote from Sheffield FC website and signed Cecil Naomi also,

Chapman is a major coup having spent time at Boston United, Gainsborough Trinity and Mansfield Town. "I have known Adam Chapman since he was at Sheffield United. I have admired the way he plays football, a player who gives his all, works hard and has a great passing range. Two years ago, Adam was playing for Mansfield Town in League Two and has a lot of football league experience making over 150 league appearances."

Your poetry needs a grilling, but I laugh like its killing, and like senses I'm filling  ::)
