What's the obsession with the ex manager, thought we had all moved on and was over the divorce ?

No obsession for me, but I do retain an interest in what past managers and players are up to. For me, there's a difference between the two. To use your "divorce" tag, there's many an ex keeps popping up in many divorced lives. Just because you're apart, doesn't mean it's necessarily the absolute end of any relationship. Personally I like discussing former whoevers. SE has never really gone away has he, for instance?

I agree TTT nice to know where old players and managers end up.
I think most of us would like to see DG go on and be successful again, after all he provided us all with some exciting football most of the time, and also something to play for at the end of season, just a shame it went wrong this season for him.

Don't get me wrong, i agree with what you say about some manangers. It is nice to hear positives about these people, but with several posts about Greene recently, many of these have been non football and that is why i get fed up reading about them and it does make me feel it is just an obsession. But that is only with a small minority, most of us are focused on the now, and the new gaffer.  I personally wish Den well as he did a good job with us up until this season. The downfall of it all was getting involved with a few fans on social media, causing spats.  At least Murray has the common sense not to go down that path !

Most forums in non-league and lower FL carry a thread EX-PLAYERS ,   all popular with fans and used on a daily basis .   Why not Boston ?       Come on TTT time for you to introduce one .

Same applies to managers , most of us like to keep up-dated .
Always nice to hear of Steve having an away day at Cleethorpes !

Not sure it's an obsession - leftback - just a bit of casual forum type stuff. If you feel it's an obsession then that's just how you read it. As for AM not going on social media, there is time yet - particularly if some of the good folk of Boston wind him up enough. Who knows, he's only been here five minutes.

Personally, i think Murray won't rise to the bait. If he ever does, he'll be out of here like a shot as he's clearly stated he won't tolerate any abuse. So, if it were to happen, we'd be shooting ourselves in the foot if we have a decent manager on board now as suggested.
