Football at york street EVERY Saturday
« on: July 19, 2010, 10:24:13 PM »
When the first team are away the reserves are at home. Despite the chance of being able to see a home game more often as travelling every week is expensive i was hoping that the games would be midweek as any unused subs on the Saturday could then play for the reserves mid week to keep match fit.

The Lincolnshire League is a senior league, so you cannot dictate fixtures to when it suits. I doubt all clubs even have floodlights...

Its an ameteur league, there will be a considerable difference in standard from the first team to the reserves!

Which is why there is a separate reserve squad, and not just an extension to the first team...
