Anyone else think he would be an ideal signing? A talented left winger thats gone off the boil a bit, a perfect DensMagic protégé..

And a shit ton of pace.

I like the sound of this Ozmen and hope we get him signed up.

And i would 100% take Milnes over Ross.
Milnes is an all round centre midfielder. Hard to come by nowadays, he's as good if not better on the ball than Ross and gets right stuck in and doesn't get the defensive credit that he deserves.

Who agrees that Ross should be first to go. Useless as always, wastes the ball and defensively i've never known someone be such a passenger.

Good point, when we are asked to defend, we basically have 10 men because Ross is utterly s*** and a passenger

Like we all know and Jason said, our defence is all over the place.
For me you have to feel sorry for Wardy and Staino, they give their all, but the kids are way out of their depth. Staino's heading and Wardy's pace gets them out of trouble. But they've never been BSBN standard and will continue to ship goal after goal after goal.

What bemuses me though is that Lee moans that we need to defend better, but what does he do about it.. Sweet FA. We have Craven who hasn't played a minute? And on paper he's a much better player than these kids and watching him warm up he looks like a better equiped defender... But he'll never get a game

Another mystery of Jason Lee

Really don't like Ross in the middle. Never seen him tackle ever or even challenge for the ball. His decision making can be questioned and the amount of possession he loses or wastes beggars belief really. If Rob and Paul were here he'd have been shipped out a long time ago along with the other drab. And they'd have brought a young hungary lad, more than up to the job probably for less money.

Yes players can lose their way. Look at Adam Boyes people said he couldn't hit a cow arse with a banjo at the end of the 10/11 season. Look at him now...

Imagine if Rob Scott actual offered him a serious wage and we kept him, he would be a club legend by now may have even been sold to a club higher, he just never seemed to missed. A real good player and one that we've missed

Don't start the 'bring back Ricky Miller' chorus Ken for heavens sake!

He also scored 4 off the bench at HT for Stamford on tuesday, which they won 5-2, 2-1 down at HT  ;)

some some of the other trialists were -
Travis Munn a centre back from Mansfield i think
Jason Stokes a winger who played in belgium
and Kieren Joseph a young local winger who played UCL i hink

Newsham played 40 games at left midfield

In the 10/11 SWD only scored 14 in a team that was utterly fanstastic and finished 3rd in the league

11/12 Newsham scored 21 goals in poor team that finished 6 points above the relegation zone

And newsham has scored plenty of beauty's from 18 yards and never fails with a 1v1 - SWD couldn't finish a 1v1 if his life depended on it

he's hardly been fiering on all cylinders for us...

He's overrated, 1st season (09/10) he was here Newsh scored no end, and 10/11 we heavily relied on Pearson popping up in the box at times.

Totally agree, he's quite a big name at this level (don't really know why) so people always says he's our best player and automatically insist he's 'quality'... when reality is newsham's a better finisher and stats prove it

Jason Lee really is useless. We're in terrible shape for next season. I honestly think we'll be in a relegation battle. Hate to say it
