Signed today for Retford
-
great signing for them showed last season hes still up for a scrap
will be a great help to them with it being their 1st season in this league
good luck ellie ;D
was hoping he would be returning here tbh though
-
New managers didn't want him, good luck Paul
-
good luck ellie, a legend in good/troubled times. if your ever in boston you'll never have to fork out for a pint
-
must admit was hoping we had him for another season for the experience factor. Am a bit wary of taking on trialists aas bulk of squad as per 2 seasons ago - ended up with a bit of a mish mash (technical term)

We have to respect the managers decision to sign who they feel is best, thats for sure, but Ellie is now the second player from last year, they have let disappear from the Jakemans, and more, another player that by universal concencus all of us would have wanted to re-sign
a real bummer. Good luck at Retford though mate, a great signing for them, and a blow for us me thinks
-
Agree with you SUNH. Hope they remember his testimonial offer cos if it wasn't for Ellie and Miller joining us late last season we would be in a Sunday pub league now.
-
Ellie was instrumental in our staying up last season, but I have no problem with the new regime wishing to move on.Good luck to Ellie though,a proper legend.

Yes good luck to Ellie and thanks for the 100% effort over the seasons. We did ask for a clean sweep at the end of the season now we have got it. In response to concerns over lower league players maybe Scott has the knack of his brother who swept though Div 2 with signing from lower leagues.( with Brentford.)

Lets keep our fingers crossed and hope that they can pull it off then
